U.S. President Barack Obama, England Prime Minister David Cameron and European Union officials held an event Monday in Northern Ireland to discuss trade talks between the U.S. and the European Union with the opening round of negotiations to begin the week of July 8 in Washington.
Corn, soybean and wheat futures are lower at 6 a.m. CDT.
The late-week pressure through the complex may continue to draw light to moderate pressure in some livestock futures. There is expected to be a combination of short covering, which could spark some buying support early Monday.
